Radical Darshan was the inspiration of Jonelle Lewis in 2020 in response to the uprising of Black Lives Matter movement. Together with Kallie Schut, one of the originating co-founders, they have strived to sustain the momentum for change in yoga in the face of resistance and challenge.
Their work integrates decolonised yoga, dharmic traditions, anti-oppression practices, and a commitment to creating spaces where equity, accountability, and liberation are not side notes but central practice.
What they offer is not simply information, but orientation: a way of teaching that asks how yoga can be practiced with integrity, how community can be tended with care, and how spiritual work can stay connected to justice in lived reality.
